SERVICES
I am a generalist practitioner, helping people facing a multitude of problems including but not limited to depression, perinatal mental health issues, grief/loss, anxiety, life transitions, acculturation struggles, adjustment to medical problems, stress management, relationship difficulty, self-esteem issues, marital/premarital counseling, and family conflict. I have a special interest in trauma and posttraumatic growth, helping trauma survivors cope with their traumatic experiences and find ways to rebuild their lives.

In my integrated approach to treatment, I work with my clients to deeply examine and explore past and present experiences and relationships drawing from the psychodynamic tradition, and incorporate techniques and skills from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), emotionally focused couples therapy (EFT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I have a particular interest in varied trauma processing treatments such as prolonged exposure therapy (PE) and cognitive processing therapy (CPT).
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
I work with individuals ranging from emerging adulthood (late adolescents) to older adults, attending to the complex needs and challenges that each stage carries: from facing adjustment to university life or study abroad, to older adults struggling with loss, medical challenges, and aging.
Following an initial 60-minute consultation, I offer 45-50 minute psychotherapy sessions at least once weekly.
COUPLES THERAPY
Marriage and partnership can bring tremendous joys, as well as stress and challenge. Healthy relationships are crucial for life satisfaction and aid in managing life stressors. Based in emotionally focused couples therapy, an evidenced-based form of couples therapy, I help couples assess their interaction and relational patterns and ways to improve communication and support. I am experienced with providing couples therapy to those who have survived traumatic experiences, or where one partner struggles with PTSD.

I treat couples for 1-hour long sessions. I will also see members of the couple individually in early stages of treatment to get to know each part of the couple as individuals.
TELETHERAPY
Sometimes it is difficult to find a therapist locally or life demands make it difficult to attend in-person treatment. In certain circumstances, I offer individual teletherapy. Please contact me if you are interested in hearing more about this service.
RESEARCH CONSULTATION
I provide research consultation services to companies. In addition to collaborating on scientific research studies at universities and hospitals, I have also consulted for foundations, providing them with program evaluations and assisting in company self-studies. Please contact me for more details.
